Northwest Folklife Festival 2008

Sevdah has an honor to be invited to perform again this year at the Northwest Folklife Festival - the largest American ethnic festival. We are scheduled to perform on

Friday, May 23, 2008
from 7:30 - 8:00 PM

at the

International Dance Stage

where we performed last year. The stage is located at the Seattle Center Pavilion, building # 38 on the following map of the Seattle Center.

Admittance : free

Donations to the Festival gladly accepted at the gates. Give at least a small donation. Thanks in the name of Sevdah's performers.

13th Gathering of
The Congress of North American Bosniaks

Immediately after the performance at the Folklife 2008, Sevdah will pack its suitcases and fly next day to St. Louis to participate in the cultural program at the 13th Gathering of the Congress of North American Bosniaks.

Sevdah will perform at the gala dinner program that will take place on Saturday, May 24, 2008 in the hotel

Sevdah will also perform at the Festival of Bosniak Folklore on Sunday, May 25, 2008 in front of

Sevdah is glad to have an opportunity to perform at these events and to be able to show in front of the guests and members of the Congress of North American Bosniaks how Sevdah cherishes and presents the Bosniak culture in Seattle. It will be our pleasure to spend time and perform with other performers at the events. Our friend, Mary Sherhart, will also perform in St. Louis.
